Who Is Aaron Rodgers?

Aaron Rodgers is a football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Born on December 2, 1983, in California, Rodgers, played college football at Butte College in 2002.

He later committed to the University of California, Berkeley, where he played for the California Golden Bears.

While in college, Rodgers recorded strong passing stats as well as strong career interceptions.

He was selected by the Packers in the first round of the NFL Draft in 2005.

Rodgers started as quarterback for the Packers in 2008 and led them to Super Bowl XLV victory in 2010. He won and was named Super Bowl MVP as a result.

Rodgers received the Associated Press Athlete of the Year honor in 2011 and was chosen as the league’s MVP for the 2011–2014, 2020–2021 NFL seasons.

He is the fifth player to receive the NFL MVP award in back-to-back seasons.

Rodgers agreed to a three-year, $150.8 million contract extension with the Packers in March 2022.

He currently earns more than any other athlete in the history of North American sports.
