Corky Ballas, the second ex-husband of Shirley Ballas, is an American retired competitive ballroom dancer and Latin dancer who has been active in the media scenes for the past four decades.

Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas tied the knot in 1985 and their marriage stood the test of time. After living together as married couples for a little over two decades, Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas divorced officially in 2007.

Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas were a great couple and they are blessed with a lovely son called Mark Ballas.

Corky Ballas is known officially as Mark Alexander Ballas Sr and he holds a number of titles in the Latin dance championships. Corky Ballas was born to George Ballas and Maria Marulanda in Houston, Texas, on December 25, 1960, hence, he is 61 years of age.

Corky Ballas has been a great dancer teacher and trainer who has trained several dancers from the  American dance competition television series dubbed “Dancing with the Stars.”
