Jimbo Fisher is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies. Previously, Fisher was the head coach of Florida State where his team won the 2015 BCS National Championship Game.

Fisher played a season in the Arena Football League in 1988 for Chicago Bruisers, then rejoined Terry Bowden at Samford as a graduate assistant coach working with quarterbacks from 1988-1990.

Fisher coached quarterbacks and was the offensive coordinator for one season at Cincinnati before joining Nick Saban’s staff at LSU in 2000. On December 1, 2017, Fisher resigned as the head coach of Florida State University to accept the same job at Texas A&M University.

The Aggies would enter 2022 with high expectations, ranked #6 in the country. In week 2, the Aggies were upset by the unranked Appalachian State.
