Patrick William McEnroe is a former professional tennis player, broadcaster, and former captain of the United States Davis Cup team from the United States.

Patrick McEnroe was one of the well-known tennis players in history. He won one singles title and sixteen doubles titles, including the French Open in 1989. His career high rankings in singles were world No. 28 and world No. 3 in doubles.

McEnroe represented his country as a doubles player in the Davis Cup in 1993, 1994, and 1996, going 3-1.
After his older brother John resigned as captain after an unhappy 14-month tenure, he was named the 38th captain of the United States Davis Cup team in 2000.
The Davis Cup team, led by McEnroe, won the Cup for the United States in December 2007. On September 6, 2010, he resigned as team captain. He has served as captain for the most years of any US Davis Cup captain.
