Indian comedian, Raju Srivastava has died at age 58. The news of his death was confirmed by his family to the media.

Srivastava was being treated at a hospital in the capital of Delhi following a heart attack on August 10. He was taken to the hospital and placed on life support after experiencing some chest pain and collapsing while working out at the gym.

Srivastava ventured into stand-up comedy with the talent show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and finished as second runner-up, subsequently taking part in the spin-off, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge-Champions, in which he won the King of Comedy.
In 2013, Srivastava along with his wife participated in Nach Baliye season 6, which is a couple of dance shows on StarPlus. He has also appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Srivastava left behind his wife and two children.
