Brett Lorenzo Favre is a former American football quarterback who spent 20 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), mostly with the Green Bay Packers.

In his 20-year NFL career, Brett Favre took a lot of big hits, but only one of them ever knocked him out cold enough to end his career.
Favre was hit by Bears defensive end Corey Wootton in a game against the Chicago Bears in 2010.
The hard hit knocked him out of the game with a concussion, and it turned out to be Favre’s final snap in the NFL, as he missed the Vikings’ final two games before retiring for good.

Favre was the NFL leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and quarterback wins at the time of his retirement.
In addition to his consecutive starts, he holds league records for interceptions and fumbles. Favre was also named to 11 Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro teams. In 2016, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
