Lady Louise Windsor is a member of the British royal family, the daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Forfar, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Forfar.

She is a granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Lady Louise is also 15th in the line of succession to the British throne, after her brother, James Mountbatten-Windsor, Viscount Severn.

She paid tribute at the funeral of her grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, in a very emotional state.
She was the Queen’s ‘favourite grandchild’ and shared similar interests with her.
Growing up as a British royale, Louise was taught how to ride horses and carriages from a young age.
She rode on horseback together with her father during the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations in 2016.
The following year, she led the carriages of the Champagne Laurent-Perrier Meet of the British Driving Society during the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
She has participated in several carriage drives and horse shows and eventually inherited her grandfather’s driving ponies and carriage in 2021.
