Is Asante Samuel in the Hall of Fame?

Asante Samuel, former professional football player who played as a quarterback throughout his entire career, is not a Hall of Farmer. When his former team, New England Patriots revealed their top three finalists for the team’s Hall of Fame, Asante Samuel‘s name was absent.

Asante Samuel questioned coach, Mike Reiss why he wasn’t included in the list. This was after an official announcement was made on Twitter on April 19, 2022.

“Congratulations to Logan Mankins, Mike Vrabel, and Vince Wilfork on being voted finalists for 2022 induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame,” the Tweet read.

“Why is my name not on here Coach Belichick,” Asante Samuel replied.

Asante Samuel has constantly bashed his former coach Belichick for a long time, stating that the coach never like him (Samuel) even though he made him understand the position of cornerback better than any other player.

“I made Belichick understand the cornerback position better and how to make plays in any coverage. He never agreed with the way I playwd but now he teaches it,” Samuel once posted on Twitter.
