There have been rumours about the possible trade of Anthony Davis. An unnamed Western Conference executive has suggested that Davis be traded to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for a package that includes Deandre Ayton and Cameron Johnson.

Davis only played 40 games this past season due to MCL and ankle injuries. The 29-year-old averaged 23.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 blocks per game in those 40 games.
The Lakers finished 11th in the West (33-49) and lost eight of their final 10 games en route to missing the postseason.
Davis is signed through at least the 2023-24 season. His five-year, $190 million contract includes a player option for the 2024-25 season. However, The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly won’t trade Anthony Davis.
