Lance Mackey Children: Does Lance Mackey Have Children?

Lance Mackey had two children from his relationship with his partner, Jennifer Smith, who died in an accident in 2020.

Mackey and Smith parented two children, Atigun and Lorenzo, who were both under the age of five at the time of the fatal accident.

There isn’t much information about the children as their parents kept their personal lives away from the media.

Mackey was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2021. Despite this, he didn’t let his diagnosis impede his career and entered the 2002 Iditarod race. However, he would not finish that race.

This was due to complications from his cancer treatment, including a feeding tube, Mackey was forced to scratch from the race and take a full year off from racing to recover. Mackey died on September 7, 2022, from the disease.
