What is Conrad Murray doing today?

Conrad Robert Murray is a former cardiologist from Grenada who was Michael Jackson’s personal physician at the time of his death in 2009.

Murray “currently practices medicine in the Caribbean and plans to reinstate his medical license in the United States,” according to The Sun. He also claims to be constructing a cardiovascular medical center in Bimini.

Murray explained that his home was foreclosed on and his children were “put on the street.” “I lost four practices and I’ve had to knock on so many doors to restart my life and find some kind of reasonable occupation,” Murray said.

Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for improperly administering the anesthetic drug propofol, which resulted in Jackson’s death, and served approximately two years of the original four-year prison sentence.

Murray was released from the Los Angeles Men’s Central Jail in 2013 after serving only two years.

Inside Edition reported in 2016 that, despite losing his license, Murray continued to practice medicine and visit patients.

The doctor insisted that he was not breaking the law because he was only providing consultations and not prescribing medication or practicing medicine.
