Where is Conrad Murray from?

Conrad Robert Murray is a former cardiologist from Grenada. Murray was born on February 19, 1953, in Grenada.

He was raised by his maternal grandparents, who were farmers, until he was seven years old, when he moved to Trinidad and Tobago to join his mother, Milta.

Murray completed high school and briefly worked as a volunteer elementary school teacher in Trinidad. Following his teaching career, he worked as a customs clerk and insurance underwriter to pay for his college education.

Doctor Conrad Murray immigrated to the United States from Grenada in 1980. He graduated from Southern Texas University with a degree in pre-medicine and bio science.

Murray later became the associate director of Sharp Memorial Hospital’s interventional cardiology fellowship training program. Murray established a private practice in Las Vegas by 1999.

Murray was hired as Michael Jackson’s personal physician for his 2009 tour, and he was paid $150,000 per month.
