Megan Hilty’s sister, Lauren, had died on September 4, 2022, in the Puget Sound plane crash.

She was pregnant and had died together with her husband and daughter who were also in the plane.
There had been 10 passengers on board before the crash occurred in Washington.
Who Is Megan Hilty?
Megan Hilty is an American actress and singer, born on March 29, 1981, in Bellevue, Washington.
She started taking vocal lessons at a young age, even as a student of Sammamish High School.
Hilty later attended the Washington Academy of Performing Arts Conservatory High School and the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
Hilty is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a member of the Actors’ Equity Association.

For her Excellence in Musical Theater, she holds an award from the National Society of Arts and Letters.

Megan Hilty Career
Hilty had moved to New York City upon graduating from the university, and made her Broadway debut in 2015.
She became famous after appearing in Broadway Musicals and went on to starr in the musical-drama series Smash.
In the series, she sang the song “Let Me Be Your Star”, which earned her an Oscar nomination.
She also appeared Sean Saves the World and Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
