Logan received the news in February 2022. “It’s difficult because when you’re told you have cancer, you literally fall over,” Logan said on BBC Breakfast.

“I didn’t see it coming, there were no symptoms, I had to go looking for it.” “I went to get a wellness check,” he said on the show, alongside his wife, presenter Gabby Logan.

” I sat down with the guy, and he told me, ‘Everything’s fine, your hormones are fine, but your PSA is high.’ ‘What does that mean?’ I asked.

‘It’s something to do with your prostrate, you should probably get checked,’ he said.” So I went in for a checkup, and within three or four months, I had a biopsy, and they said there’s something there, but we’ll just keep an eye on it.”

Logan was then  told to choose between radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and surgery to have his prostate removed. The former rugby player has chosen the latter.

After deciding to have his prostate removed, he now claims to be “95% back to normal” three months later.
