He said;
“I wholeheartedly condemn Pakistan’s anti-Sikh narrative & deliberate targeting of Arshdeep Singh to portray him as the reason of India’s loss. The media channels, journalists & influencer accounts of Pak are hitting at Arshdeep in context of Khalistan.”

What Is The Khalistan Movement?
The Khalistan movement/association is a Sikh separatist movement seeking to create a homeland for Sikhs by establishing a sovereign state, called Khālistān (‘Land of the Khalsa’), in the Punjab region.
The proposed state would consist of land that currently forms Punjab, India and Punjab, Pakistan.
There is some support within India and the Sikh diaspora for the Khalistan movement, with yearly demonstrations in protest of those killed during Operation Blue Star.
Four years ago, some militant groups were arrested by police in Punjab, India, with Chief Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh claiming that the recent extremism is backed by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and “Khalistani sympathisers” in Canada, Italy, and the UK.
