Pierre Bouteyre, former coach of Fiona Ferre has been accused by the tennis player of raping her. According to sources, Pierre Bouteyre has been charged with rape and sexual assault.

The tennis player shared that she was raped and assaulted by Pierre Bouteyre when he was her private coach between 2012 and 2015. She made a social media post stating that she believes the French justice system will take the situation and solve it in the best way, therefore, she will not be coming out publicly with anything.

“Full confidence in the justice system of my country and confirm that I do not wish to make any other statement on the criminal investigation,” she stated.
Gilles Moretton, French Tennis Federation president also released a statement expressing support for Fiona Ferro.
“We would like to express our support for Fiona Ferro, while respecting the presumption of innocence, at a time that we know is particularly difficult for her. The FFT’s sports integrity unit is currently assisting her and we will do everything we can to help her rebuild her life,” the statement read.
