The rock band is made up of husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, together with Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara.

Their third studio album, The Suburbs, also won them the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year, as well as an Oscar for Album of the Year in 2011.

Their fourth album, Reflektor, came in 2013 and bagged a nomination in the Best Original Score category at the 86th Academy Awards.

Arcade Fire’s fifth studio album Everything Now, was succeeded by their sixth album We, which was released in 2022.
