Bill Turnbull Cause of Death

British journalist and presenter, Bill Turnbull, has died. He died on August 31, 2022, at the age of 66. He died after a battle with prostate cancer.

A spokesperson from his family confirmed the news of his death to the media. It was said in a statement, “Following a challenging and committed fight against prostate cancer, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Suffolk surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 31.

Bill’s close friend and former co-presenter of the BBC Legend, Naga Munchetty was visibly distraught as she informed the nation of Bill’s passing.

Speaking about Bill who spent 15 years on the show until his departure in 2016, Naga said, “I can only say as a team we were in shock this morning, we know what he meant to so many of you viewers”.
