Dascha Yolaine Polanco became pregnant at the age of 17 with her daughter Dasany, who is now 18, and again at the age of 25 with her son Aryam, who is now 11.

Dascha Polanco has shared in an interview that she struggled for many years with the guilt she felt from getting pregnant at a young age. “I was the laughingstock of my family,” Polanco admits.

It wasn’t until recently that she learned to let go of her pain and celebrate her independence, strength, and success as a woman and mother.

Now she knows it’s exactly what makes her so fierce. “I’m going to continue to work as a mother and grow as a mother,” she says. “I’m going to kill it as a mother, and I’m going to be a sexy-ass mami too. I’m going to be true to me.”
