Former Eastenders star Ashvin Luximon passed away on July 23, 2022, after suffering from an aneurysm. He was aged 38.

His brother, Alvin Luximon, had paid tribute on Ashvin’s birthday on August 13:
“Happy Birthday brother, I am sure you having a lot of fun and making everyone laugh… have a great one, cheers. Miss you…”, he wrote on social media.
Ashvin is best known for playing the role of Asif Malik in Eastenders, from 1999 to 2003.
He had appeared on 146 episodes of the BBC series.
Ashvin was raised in Enfield, North London, and was schooled at Bowden’s Theatre School.

He also went to Chase Community School, and later launched out in pursuit of his acting career.
He later appeared in other TV shows include Grange Hill and Hope and Glory.
Aside acting, Ashvin has appeared in promotional videos such as bus safety, and British Airways.
Ashvin was buried on August 11, 2022.

Aneurysm is a condition characterized by excessive swelling of the walls of the arteries.
Aneurysms often occur in the aorta, brain, back of the knee, intestine or spleen.
When an aneurysm is ruptured, it can lead to internal bleeding or even stroke.
