Who Is Chun In-gee?

Chun In-gee is a South Korean golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour.

Chun was born on August 10, 1994, in Gunsan, South Korea, to Korean parents, Chun Jong-jin and Kim Eun-hee.

Chun began playing golf from an early age. She had attended the Korean University, where she also played golf.

She turned professional in 2012 and in 2015, she became the first player in golf history to win majors on three different tours in the same year.

She had clinched two majors titles on the KLPGA Tour –  the Hite Jinro Championship and the KB Financial Star Championship.

She also clinched two major titles on the JLPGA Tour.

Chun recorded other wins at the  World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup, the Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open.

Chun has won a major championship three times – the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2016 Evian Championship, and the 2022 Women’s PGA Championship.

So far, Chun has made 15 professional wins, out of which 4 are on the LPGA Tour.
