American basketball star, Patrick Beverly, was born on July 12, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois, to his parents, Lisa Beverley and Patrick Bracy.

His mother, Lisa had him when she was just 17 years old and his father was also a basketball player during his time.

Patrick plays basketball for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
While in college, he played basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks and later travelled to play in Ukraine, Greece, and Russia.

Patrick played for the Houston Rockets from 2013 to 2017, before he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Again, the Clippers traded Patrick to the Memphis Grizzlies, and nine days after, he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In July 2022, Patrick was traded together with Malik Beasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro, to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Rudy Gobert.
Beverley has won the NBA All-Defensive Team member title three times.
