Peggy Sue Gerron: Who Is Jerry Allison Wife?

Jerry Allison was married to Peggy Sue Gerron for many decades. They got married in 1940 until 2018 and they had no children either.

One of Allison’s hits Peggy Sue, was originally called Cindy Lou until Allison intervened. He was pleased with Holly to change the title about his girlfriend Peggy Sue Gerron, after the couple temporarily split up.

The gesture worked and Gerron and Allison reunited and later married.

In 2007, Allison was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, as a member of the Crickets.

In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Crickets by a special committee, aimed at correcting the mistake of not including the Crickets with Buddy Holly when he was first inducted in 1986.
