David Armstrong Children: Did David Armstrong Have Kids?

Former England, Middlesbrough, Southampton and AFC Bournemouth footballer David Armstrong has died at age 67.

Middlesbrough, the team where he spent a decade of his career from 1971 to 1981, announced the news of his death on their club website on Sunday (August 21) evening.

Armstrong is believed to have had kids but as of now, their identities have not yet been disclosed.

Armstrong, who played as an attacking midfielder, holds the record for the most consecutive appearances by a Boro player – an incredible 358 in all competitions between March 1973 and August 1980.

Armstrong was noted for his remarkable durability – for many years he was ever-present in the #11 shirt for Boro, and as a testament to this, he was awarded a testimonial whilst aged only 25.

Armstrong’s contributions aided Southampton to reach the FA Cup semi-final in 1985–86 and in the same season, he scored 10 league goals

However, he was dropped from the team during the 1986–87 season, scoring just once in 22 league games.

At the end of that season, he dropped down a division to sign for AFC Bournemouth, where he spent one season before retiring as a player.

Armstrong was Southampton FC’s Player of the Season in 1983–1984, and he also made three appearances for the England international team between 1980 and 1984.
