‘Wednesday’ Teaser, Release Date, Cast, Synopsis

Wednesday is an upcoming American comedy horror television series based on The Addams Family character Wednesday Addams.

On August 17, Netflix released the main teaser which shows Wednesday Adams planning her retaliation after her brother Pugsley is bullied at school.

Wednesday will feature Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman and Isaac Ordonez as the main cast.

Additional cast members include Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer and Riki Lindhome, with Christina Ricci.

The official Wednesday synopsis reads: “Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting 16-year-old Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.

Season one will follow Wednesday as she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.”
