Steve Grimmett Wife: Who Is Allison?

Steve Grimmett, a British heavy metal vocalist, best known as the lead vocalist for the band Grim Reaper has died. He was born on 19 August 1959 and died on 15 August 2022, aged 62.

He died four days to his 63rd birthday and at the time of his passing he was married to his gorgeous and supportive Allison, with whom he had three children.

Apparently, his wife preferred to keep details of her life under the wraps and as a result, there’s not much information about her.

Steve’s passing was confirmed by his brother Mark Grimmett, who wrote on social media:

“I don’t really know where to start so I guess I will just come right out with it. It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I have to tell you all as many of you know him my very talented brother Steve Grimmett very sadly passed away today, my heart goes out to Millie his wife my Mum and Dad, Russell , Sami and Ethan . I will miss you more than words will ever say , love you bro xx”.

Grim Reaper was formed in 1979. However, Grimmett joined the lineup as their vocalist in 1982 and at the time of his passing, he was the longest tenured member within the group.

Over the course of the band’s career, he appeared on five studio albums.

The first three – See You in Hell, Fear No Evil and Rock You to Hell – were recorded between 1982-1988.

The last two – Walking in the Shadows and At the Gates – were recorded in 2016 and 2019 respectively.

Grimmett later featured in Onslaught for a brief period, before forming Lionsheart and in more recent times, The Steve Grimmett Band and GrimmStine.
