Hong Kong politician, Ambrose Lee, passed away on August 14, 2022.

Lee had reportedly died in his sleep. He was aged 73.
He is survived by his child, Glen Lee and other family members.
Friends and associates have taken time to express their condolences to the family of the late politician.

“Mr Ambrose S K Lee was a senior officer whom I respected. I was deeply impressed by his dedication and commitment to serving the people of Hong Kong when I worked with him in various positions in the past,” Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu said.

Lee was a former Secretary for Security in Hong Kong for 8 years, and served in the Hong Kong government for 38 years in all.
Lee worked in the Immigration Department as an officer in 1974. He rose through the ranks and became Assistant Director of Immigration in 1995, Deputy Director in 1997, and Director of Immigration in October 1998.
He later became Commissioner of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in 2202.
