Famous American comedian and actor, Teddy Ray, passed away on August 12, 2022, at age 32. His cause of death is yet to be revealed.

There are speculations that Ray must have died of a cardiac arrest due to his heavy weight, but this has not been confirmed.

Friends and associates have taken to Twitter to express their condolences.

“Teddy Ray was a hilarious and beloved performer. He’ll be deeply missed by the entire comedy community,” Comedy Central dropped a note on Twitter.

“[RIP] teddy ray, he was a real one,” Desus Nice, former co-host of Desus & Mero, tweeted.

Teddy Ray Life And Career

Born on July 30, 1990, Ray hails from West Los Angeles and gained prominence after he appeared on Russell Simmon’s comedy platform, All Def Digital.

His work on the platform made his popularity increase and hence, his fans and subscribers on his YouTube channel grew rapidly.

As of 2022, his YouTube channel has over 32.8K subscribers and his followers on Instagram had hit over 197K.

As an actor, he is known for the movies Funny Fat Guy (2018), How to Be Broke (2017) and Scroll Wheel of Time.

Teddy also appeared on the 8th season of MTV’s Wild ‘N Out Season 8. He later joined Lewis Ray to host a pod cast titled “The Cali Kickback.”

As a comedian he worked with industry big guns like Katt Williams and David Spade.
