Yuja Wang is famous for being a remarkable Chinese classical pianist and became an internationally recognized concert pianist by the age of 21. As of now, Yuja Wang is residing in New York City.

Yuja Wang had major breakthrough in March 2007 after she replaced Martha Argerich in concerts held in Boston. Wang performed Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with Charles Dutoit conducting.

Yuja Wang has a recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon. Yuja Wang won third prize in the Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists in Ettlingen, Germany in 1998.
Yuja Wang has toured the U.S. alongside the Academy of St Martin in the Fields in 2008. She was a solo performer with the YouTube Symphony Orchestra in 2009 at Carnegie Hall.
Yuja Wang was named a 2006 biennial Gilmore Young Artist Award winner on September 11, 2005, giving her a chance to make an appearance at Gilmore Festival concerts.
She made her New York Philharmonic debut at the Bravo! Vail Music Festival in 2006.
