When is Splatoon 3Coming Out?

Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter video game that Nintendo is developing and publishing for the Nintendo Switch console. The game will be released on the Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022.

The game, like its predecessors in the Splatoon series, features competitive online multiplayer matches as well as a story-driven single-player mode.

Splatoon 3 was first revealed in a Nintendo Direct on February 17, 2021, with a teaser trailer. The teaser trailer showed gameplay similar to Splatoon 2, as well as new items, weapons, and abilities such as an Ink Bow and a new apocalyptic design.

Nintendo announced a special edition Nintendo Switch OLED model themed on the game in July 2022, with a release date of August 26, 2022.

The company also revealed a Splatoon 3-themed Pro Controller and case, both of which will be available alongside the game.

The game will support amiibo, and several new figurines will be released. Similar to previous Splatoon titles, these can be used to take photos with the characters.
