Paul Gregory Green was a professional rugby league football coach in Australia who most recently served as the head coach of Queensland in the State of Origin series, as well as a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s.

Paul Green died on August 11, 2022, at the age of 49, one month before his 50th birthday, at his Wynnum, Brisbane, home. Green’s cause of death remains unknown
Green was born in the Australian city of Brisbane. He won the Rothmans Medal in 1995 while playing for the Cronulla Sharks, North Queensland Cowboys, Sydney Roosters, Parramatta Eels, and Brisbane Broncos.

He was a Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative at halfback. Green coached the Cowboys to their first premiership in 2015.
Green cemented his place in rugby league history when he led the Cowboys to their first NRL title in incredible circumstances in 2015.
