Olivia Newton-John died from breast cancer. She was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and the disease returned in 2013 and 2017 where it was stated that cancer had spread to her bones and progressed to stage IV.

Dame Olivia Newton-John AC DBE passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California on 8 August 2022 at the age of 73. She was born on September 26, 1948, in Cambridge, the United Kingdom.

Dame Olivia Newton-John AC DBE was the granddaughter of the Jewish Nobel Prize-winning physicist Max Born. Olivia is one of the best-selling artists of all time. She has eleven of her singles and 14 of her albums certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
In her music career, Newton-John has also had two Billboard 200 number one albums including If You Love Me, Let Me Know (1974) and Have You Never Been Mellow (1975). She has had five number one hits and another ten Top Ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 throughout her music career.
