Robert T. Brockman Wife: Was Robert T. Brockman Married?

Dorothy Kay Brockman was the wife of Robert Brockman, a self-taught software entrepreneur who developed a system that helped car dealers run their operations virtually.

Dorothy and Robert got married in 1968 and they lived in Houston. They had three children. However, Brockman was known to be very private individual and refused public interviews.

As a result of his private nature, his wife and immediate family wasn’t exposed and as a result, much is not known about his wife.

Sadly, Dorothy’s husband, Robert passed away on August 5, 2022 aged 81 after struggles with dementia.

Robert’s death was revealed by his attorney Kathy Keneally on August 6, 2022, and he confirmed that his client passed away the previous day.

Prior to his death, Robert had been fighting IRS allegations of money laundering and tax evasion worth more than $2 billion since 2020.

Prosecutors said that Brockman, who had a personal net worth of $4.7 billion, owned an $8 million mansion in Houston, a Colorado ski cabin, a Bormbardier jet and a 209 foot yacht, named “Turmoil.”

Brockman suffered from dementia, and his attorneys had repeatedly argued that he wasn’t competent to stand trial, but a judge ruled in May that the trial would go forward.

However, at a June hearing, the judge set the trial date for February 2023, with Brockman appearing at the hearing via video link from his bed.
