Pierce Brosnan First Wife: Who was Cassandra Harris?

Pierce Brendan Brosnan OBE is an Irish actor and film producer best known for playing secret agent James Bond in the Bond film series for the fifth time.

Pierce Brosnan’s first wife was Cassandra Harris, an Australian actress. Pierce met Cassandra Harris through her stepson David Harris.

They married in December 1980 and had one son, Sean, on September 13, 1983, who went on to become an actor.

Cassandra Harris appeared in the films The Greek Tycoon (1978), Rough Cut (1980), and For Your Eyes Only (1981).

Harris was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1987, the same disease that had killed her mother.

She battled the illness for four years before passing away on December 28, 1991, 13 days after her 43rd birthday. Her daughter Charlotte died of ovarian cancer on June 28, 2013, at the age of 42.
