Pierce Brendan Brosnan OBE is a film producer and actor from Ireland. He is best known as the fifth actor to play secret agent James Bond in the Bond film series, appearing in four films and multiple video games from 1995 to 2002.

Brosnan hasn’t been as visible in recent years as he was during his 007 tenure. Brosnan hasn’t stopped acting, or even slowed down; it’s just that the films he makes now are relatively low-key in comparison to James Bond blockbusters.
In 2021, Brosnan executive produced and starred in The Misfits. He also appeared in A24’s horror film False Positive, co-written and co-produced by Ilana Glazer.

Brosnan was cast as Doctor Fate/Kent Nelson in the DC Extended Universe film Black Adam in March 2021.
In July 2021, he co-starred with Adam Devine in Tyler Spindel’s Netflix action-comedy film The Out-Laws.
In 2022, Brosnan starred as King Louis XIV in The King’s Daughter, a family adventure film based on Vonda N. McIntyre’s 1997 novel The Moon and the Sun.
It was released in the United States and Canada on January 21, 2022. Brosnan is set to star in Phillip Noyce’s hitman thriller Fast Charlie, which will begin filming in the spring of 2022.
