Evangeline Rose “Cherie” Gil Eigenmann was a Filipino actress. With a career spanning nearly 50 years, she was dubbed the “La Primera Contravida” for her acting prowess which landed her in numerous antagonistic roles.

Cherie Gil was the daughter of Filipino singer-actors Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil, and sister of fellow actors, Michael de Mesa, and Mark Gil.

She was married to Rony Rogoff, a violinist; the couple had two children, Bianca and Raphael. She also had another child, Jeremiah David (Jay), from a previous relationship with actor Leo Martinez.

Despite Cherie living far from her kids for quite some time when Cherie proved that distance won’t keep them apart.

Jay Eigenmann is Cherie’s son with actor Leo Martinez while Bianca and Raphael Rogoff are the veteran actress’s children with her former husband Roni Rogoff. Roni is of Israeli descent and a well-known violinist.

Even before, Jay, Raphael, and Bianca have been getting a lot of love on social media for their looks which they seemingly got from both their parents.

But Cherie has a lot more to be proud of about her children apart from them acquiring her good looks. All her children have finished their studies.

Cherie’s eldest son works as an audio engineer in New York and has managed to keep a close relationship with his two younger siblings who are also living in the US.
