What Medical Condition does Kirk Gobson have?

Kirk Harold Gibson is a former professional baseball player and manager from the United States.

Kirk Gibson announced he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease on April 28, 2015. Gibson is being treated by Spectrum Health Medical Group neurologist Ashok Sriram, MD.

In a 2015 statement, he stated that he would treat the challenge of dealing with Parkinson’s in the same way that he would treat the other obstacles.

“I’ve faced many different obstacles in my life, and I’ve always maintained a strong belief that no matter what, I could overcome those obstacles,” Gibson said.

“While this diagnosis presents a new type of challenge for me, I intend to remain committed to my beliefs.” I will face this challenge with the same determination and unwavering intensity that I have shown in all of my life endeavours, with the help of my family and friends.

Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder that causes shaking, stiffness, and difficulty walking, balancing, and coordinating. There is no known cure.

Kirk Gibson is quite active today after his diagnosis. He is currently a colour commentator and special assistant for the Detroit Tigers on Bally Sports Detroit.
