Batgirl Directors: Who are Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah?

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are Moroccan-born Belgian film and television directors.

Adil El Arbi was born June 30, 1988. He is 34 years old and Bilall Fallah was born on January 4, 1986. He is 36 years old.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah met at film school. Their first project, a short film called Broeders (2011), was well received by critics.

The duo made their debut with Black, a Romeo and Juliet-style drama set in the world of organised crime in Belgium.

The duo directed the pilot and first two episodes of FX’s crack plague series Snowfall, and they also directed Bad Boys for Life, the third instalment of the Bad Boys franchise.

In addition to directing Bad Boys for Life, the duo was attached to direct Beverly Hills Cop IV, the fourth instalment in the Beverly Hills Cop film series, in which Eddie Murphy will reprise his role.

It was announced in May 2021 that the duo would direct a film based on Batgirl for HBO Max. After receiving poor reviews during test screenings, it was announced in August 2022 that the film Batgirl would not be released.
