Yasiel Puig joined the Kiwwon Heroes of the KBO League on December 8, 2021, after spending some months with a Mexican baseball team called El Águila de Veracruz.

After spending a season in the Mexican League with El Águila de Veracruz, Yasiel Puig won the Defensive Player of the Year award.

Yasiel Puig formerly played in Major League Baseball for the likes of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Indians. Yasiel Puig is a one-time Major League Baseball All-Star Game player.
