Vin Scully Second Wife: Who Is Sandra Hunt?

Sandra Hunt was the second wife of legendary American sportscaster Vincent Edward Scully (Vin Scully). They got married two years after the passing of his first wife Joan Crawford.

At the time of marriage, Sandra, was serving as the secretary for the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams.

Scully and Hunt got married in 1974 and she passed on in early January 2021. Scully and Hunt were married for 48 years until Sandra’s death from MND (Motor Neuron Disease) on January 3, 2021.

Sandra Hunt, died at age 76 after battling Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing loss of muscle control for many years.

ALS is often called Lou Gehrig’s disease, after the baseball player who was diagnosed with it.

Sandra left behind her husband, Vin, children Catherine, Kelly, Erin, Todd, Kevin, and late Michael, as well as 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, reported Dodgers MLBlogs.

Her husband Vin Scully also died on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, a year and 7 months after her death.
