Did Zach Wilson have an affair with his mother’s best friend?

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson was publicly accused of sleeping with his mother’s best friend by his ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile on July 10, 2022

She made the accusation in response to online abuse she received after it was revealed that she was dating Wilson’s former college teammate.

The same day that Gile made the accusation, Wilson’s mother Lisa shared a lengthy post on Instagram in which she cautioned about the dangers of social media.

During a press conference at the team’s first training camp practice on Wednesday, July 27 2022, Zach Wilson refused to address his ex-sensational girlfriend’s claim that he slept with his mother’s best friend.

When asked how he was doing after ‘all the social media stuff that he’s had to deal with, Wilson responded: ‘Right… it’s just focusing on football and that’s all I can do. It is what it is. I’m excited to be here with the boys… I’m excited to just try and get better every single day. That’s all I’ve been focusing on.’
