Kandi Burruss won the third season of the Fox competition series The Masked Singer. became the first woman to take home the golden trophy on Fox’s The Masked Singer on May 20, 2020.

Kandi Burruss owns two Atlanta-based restaurants including Old Lady Gang and Blaze Steak and Seafood. She lost her older brother, Patrick Riley in 1991 following an unfortunate car crash. Kandi was born in College Park, Georgia, the United States of America as the daughter of the Reverend Titus Burruss Jr and Joyce Jones.

Kandi Lenice Burruss Tucker, known professionally by her mononym Kandi rose into the spotlight in 1992 as a member of the female vocal group Xscape. She also made her media appearance as a teen on the BET series Teen Summit at the age of 15.
Burruss had a recurring role as Roselyn Perry in the third season of the Showtime drama series The Chi. Kandi Burruss has appeared in The Real Housewives of Atlanta, 2012’s The Kandi Factory, and Kandi’s Wedding (2014), Kandi’s Ski Trip (2015), Xscape: Still Kickin’ It (2017) and Kandi & the Gang.
