Sophie Unwin, a visually impaired British racing cyclist who competes in para-cycling tandem road and track events is yet to disclose her love life to the public. As a result, she’s largely thought of as being single.

Unwin was born on 23 July 1994 and she won the bronze medal in the individual pursuit at the 2020 Summer Paralympics alongside Jenny Holl.
In July 2022, two years after her bronze winning triumph, Sophie was left in tears in the Commonwealth Games after not being awarded a bronze medal despite a third-placed finish.

She was also fined for protesting against the decision to not award her a Commonwealth Games bronze medal despite her third placed finish.
The tandem B sprint had four entries and rules say only gold and silver medals will be issued in such cases.
Despite that, Unwin and pilot Georgia Holt borrowed bronze medals from team-mates Laura Kenny and Josie Knight to pose for photographs on the podium, leading to the pair been fined by cycling’s governing body, the UCI.
The 200 Swiss francs fine has also been issued to England’s cycling team manager Keith Reynolds. The UCI stated the fine was for “failure to respect the instructions of the commissaire/organiser”.
