Brock Alan Osweiler is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football at Arizona State and was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Osweiler was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on November 22, 1990, and was raised by his parents, Kathy and John Osweiler, in Kalispell, Montana.

He attended Flathead High School.

While with The Denver Broncos, Osweiler first served as the Broncos’ starter during their Super Bowl-winning season in 2015 when he relieved an injured Peyton Manning, although Manning resumed his starting duties for the playoffs and eventual Super Bowl 50 victory.

After the Super Bowl, Osweiler became the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans, but an unsuccessful 2016 campaign resulted in his tenure lasting only one season.

Did Brock Osweiler Retire?

Osweiler retired on October 16, 2019, in the middle of that year’s season.

Osweiler’s career saw him play for;

  2. Houston Texans
  3. Cleveland Browns
  4. Denver Broncos (second stint) and finally
  5. Miami Dolphins.
