Is Shakira Married?

There have been rumors that Shakira and Barcelona footballer, Gerard Piqué were just co-habiting partners who never got married.

Sometime in 2019, Shakira had mentioned that she had an unconventional relationship with Pique.

Shakira and Pique are parents of two children but they have split after 11 years of being together.

Their two children are Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.

Shakira had met Pique in 2010 while filming the music video for the World Cup song Waka Waka.

They soon began dating and went on to have kids.

The now estranged couple are no longer together but their two children will be moving to Miami with their mother.

Shakira Music Career

Shakira launched her first single at age 13, and came to fame after the release of her albums, Pies Descalzos (1995) and Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998).

She broke into the English-language market with her fifth album, Laundry Service (2001), selling more 13 million copies worldwide.

Her singles “Whenever, Wherever” and “Underneath Your Clothes”, became a huge success on the global stage and international market.
