Kelis is an American singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and chef who hails from New York City and sings in the genres of R&B, electronic music, soul, hip-hop, and pop. Kelis is the ex-wife of an American rapper, songwriter and businessman called Nas.

What happened to Kelis?
A number of things have happened in the life of Kelis but the most notable and troubling was the loss of his husband called Mike Mora. Kelis and Mike Mora died on March 14, 2022, at the age of 37 years after battling stomach cancer for a number of years.

Kelis is one of the co-authors of the book titled “My Life on a Plate: Recipes From Around the World.” Kelis has appeared in a number of reality competitions like Hell’s Kitchen, The Masked Singer, Pitch Battle, and Top Chef Masters.
Kelis has released a number of albums and some of them include Kaleidoscope, Wanderland, Kelis Was Here, and Flesh Tone, among others.
