Samuel James Champion born on August 13, 1961, is an American weather anchor who is best known for his combined 25-year career on the ABC flagship station WABC-TV and Good Morning America. He formerly co-anchored AMHQ: America’s Morning Headquarters and 23.5 Degrees With Sam Champion on The Weather Channel.

Sam and Rubem married in 2012 in an intimate ceremony in their Manhattan apartment. They then had a larger wedding in Miami on New Year’s Eve. Sam Champion and his husband Rubem Robierb looked over the moon as they welcomed a new family member on Friday.
The Good Morning America host shared photos on social media cradling a newborn baby and they were thrilled. Robert held his first solo art exhibit in Brazil in 2005, which caught the eye of many art collectors and gallery owners.
The couples are happy about their new adopted baby. In 2008, he moved to Miami, Florida, and began his work as a visual artist, working on Pop art, sculpting, and photography.
