The Shahs of Sunset reality show star Mike Shouhed is facing 14 criminal charges, including battery and domestic abuse.

The reality star was charged on July 20 with several misdemeanours by Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer, including eight counts of domestic violence, battery, and illegally attempting to prevent a victim from filing a report, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Shouhed is also charged with six gun-related offences, including unlawful storage of a loaded gun and possession of an assault weapon.

On Tuesday, July 26, Paulina Ben-Cohen, Shouhed’s fiancée, confirmed to PEOPLE through her lawyer Joshua Ritter that she is “the victim in the case.”
Shouhed was previously detained on suspicion of intimate partner violence with injury on March 27 in Los Angeles
He was released after posting $50,000 bail. Shouhed entered a “not guilty” plea to all charges on Tuesday 26 July, and he is scheduled to return to court in August.
Paulina Ben-Cohen and Shouhed made their engagement a public matter in August 2021 during a Shahs of Sunset reunion special.
