Jason Momoa involved in head-on collision

According to the California Highway Patrol, actor Jason Momoa was involved in a head-on collision with a motorcyclist on a Los Angeles-area highway over the weekend.

Jason Mamoa was driving down Old Topanga Road in Calabasas, California, shortly before 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022, when a 21-year-old man on a motorcycle crossed the centre line and collided with his 1970 Oldsmobile.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist collided with Momoa’s car and was thrown from the motorcycle.

Jason Momoa got out of his car to assist the motorcyclist and signalled a passing driver to dial 911.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the crash, including bruising to their leg and thumb. Neither Momoa nor the victim is believed to have been seriously injured.

It is unknown why the motorcycle rider crossed the centre line. There have been no charges filed in connection with the crash.

Momoa stars in the new “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” which is set to be released in March 2023.
