Sergey Brin First Wife: Who Is Anne Wojcicki?

Anne E. Wojcicki, an American entrepreneur, is the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Wojcicki married Sergey Brin in May 2007.

They have a son, Benji Wojin, born in December 2008, and a daughter, Chloe Wojin, born in late 2011. The couple divorced in 2015.

Despite their divorce, Brin and Wojcicki continue to co-manage The Brin Wojcicki Foundation.

They have made significant contributions to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, including a $1 million gift in 2009 to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

Anne Wojcicki is the co-founder and CEO of the personal genomics company 23andMe. She founded the company with  Linda Avey and Paul Cusenza in 2006 to give the general public access to their genetic information.

Wojcicki was born in Palo Alto, California, and has two older sisters: YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and anthropologist and epidemiologist Janet Wojcicki.

Wojcicki worked as a health care consultant for Passport Capital, a San Francisco-based investment fund, and Investor AB after graduating.

Fast Company named Wojcicki “The Most Daring CEO” in October 2013. She is ranked 93rd on Forbes’ list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women as of 2020.
